Our Milton Team
It has been my honor and privilege to be in the role of executive director since 2016. I started my journey working with the geriatric population in 2010. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in 2014, I continued working in healthcare until starting my role with Milton Senior Living. I enjoy continuing my education and received my state of Wisconsin CBRF certification in assisted living administration in 2019.
I attend the WALA Conference annually and work closely with the Diamond Accreditation Program. Every day, I manage the overall operations, upkeep, and staff of Milton Senior Living to make sure all functions of the facility are consistent with our mission of providing quality care for all our residents. I am an ambassador with the MACC and spend time representing Milton Senior Living within the Milton community. I am married and enjoy spending my free time with my husband and young daughter. I reside in Janesville.
I started my career in healthcare in September of 2014, working in various roles providing direct care services to residents and families after receiving my associate’s degree. I have been in my role as wellness coordinator since 2019. I work under the delegated RN to manage medication administration and resident cares to ensure continuity of care. I work closely with outside provider services. I oversee the admission process to ensure every resident has a smooth transition into Milton Senior Living. I facilitate the company CBRF Fire Safety Course. In 2020, I worked closely with the management team to receive the Diamond Accreditation award through WALA. I became Wisconsin CBRF certified in assisted living administration in 2021. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and bonus children.
I started my adventure with Milton Senior Living in 2002 and have enjoyed every moment as the activity director for over 13 years! I am constantly continuing my education annually by attending the WRAP conference to ensure I am up-to-date on all current activity trends.
I am a certified chair chi instructor and always looking for new chair chi participants. I facilitate resident council meetings and manage the general store with our current resident volunteers. I also work closely with the UW Whitewater student volunteers in the NHVP program. Daily, I plan and oversee all activities, facility events, and activity staff. I can also be found facilitating many of the activities myself. My husband and I have been married for 37+ years. We have one son and four grandchildren, who are the highlights of our lives. We love camping, geocaching, and spending time with family.
Food Service Director
I have been the food service director for Milton Senior Living since 2011 and enjoy all aspects of my job. Every day, I have the pleasure of providing a variety of menu options to our residents while also managing food and supply orders, food preparation training, event planning, and dietary staff management.
I work closely with the Milton High School Work Opportunity Co-Op to provide first-time jobs to high school juniors and seniors. I spend a few days a week preparing the menu options and enjoy cooking for our residents. I have my certification in food safety and attend educational events presented by our vendor services, GFS. I love working with our residents, as I feel it makes a difference in their lives. My husband and I live in Milton, Wisconsin. We love spending time with our children and our grandchildren!
